Graduation Session

My little sister asked me to take some Graduation pictures of her which was a big honor! (Especially since she is "kinda" picky and is a perfectionist. Still love ya Nin) I didn't think she considered me good enough to take her pics, I figured she wanted them done at a Studio or something. Well, we went out for about half an hour here in my neighborhood and had some fun, Here is a sneak peak of the few I have edited.

I have started a Photography blog! A little about me, I am a wife to a wonderful man, and a mommy to a handsome, stubborn little guy. Most of the pictures I will post are of them since they are where I get my practice. I took a photography course in High School with a film camera and worked in a Black & White room. I really liked it but didn't pursue it much since I new my ultimate goal was to be in a classroom teaching. Well I graduated from ASU with a degree in Early Childhood Education but have yet to step foot in a classroom. Who knew how much your priorities change once you have a child. I started getting back into photography around the time the hubby and I got married. We had a wonderful photographer who was so easy to be around and I absolutely loved her style of photography. Once our little guy came around there was absolutely no question of how much I wanted this to be my hobby. I have always been big on taking pictures, and I wanted to be able to take the great pictures of him on a daily basis. It is something our children and our family will be able to appreciate and treasure years from now. I have to admit the these last eight months of his life were focused on him and my husband as we got used to this thing they call "Parenthood", now that we both kinda got the hang of some things, there is room for the fun stuff! I am really looking forward to sharing photos here and seeing myself grow as a photographer! And I leave you with this picture of our little man!
